Translating Open Science and FAIR policies into practice in Finland

Abstract

Aim of the webinar is to answer the following questions:

  • Why open science policies, principles and practices are essential for research organizations?
  • How to put policies into practice in research organizations? What kind of challenges you may face and how to learn from experiences of others?
  • How to develop a FAIR research culture based on incentives?

Openness is a central principle in science and research. Open science aims to make scientific knowledge openly available, accessible and reusable for everyone, for the benefits of science and society. Open science also enables that decision-makers and citizens have access to research-based information.
